Jeff’s King of the Court Pick for Wednesday, November 13: Giannis Antetokounmpo
In King of the Court’s first Wednesday back in action, I’m not messing around with a dark horse. There’s a reason Giannis is the clear favorite to lead tonight’s slate in points, rebounds and assists.
Now, it’s worth keeping an eye on Damian Lillard’s status. In the event that he somehow does clear concussion protocol for this contest, you could look elsewhere. However, that doesn’t feel likely after he entered it following Sunday’s loss to Boston. Assuming Dame remains out, Antetokounmpo will have to carry Milwaukee’s offense.
The superstar is only two games removed from a 43, 13 and five outing, and replicating those numbers feels feasible if he’s the clear top guy against Detroit tonight.
