The Trail Blazers are taking on the Timberwolves for the second straight night in Portland on Wednesday night on the three-game late slate. In the late afternoon, the Blazers ruled out Anfernee Simons (illness), who had to leave Tuesday’s game with shortness of breath. He’ll join Deandre Ayton (finger) on the sidelines, who is missing his second straight game, along with Robert Williams (rest), who looked great in place of Ayton on Tuesday.

Henderson has a 24.7% usage rate when Simons is off the floor this season and produces 1.12 fantasy points per minute. Last night, Henderson had 27.5 fantasy points in 21 minutes with 14 points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists.
Henderson has been much more aggressive about attacking the rim this season, and it’s led to impressive highlights like this one.

Henderson has been coming off the bench all season, but this will be the first game Simons has been sidelined. Last season, Henderson played 23 games without Simons, averaging 30.4 fantasy points in 29.3 minutes in those contests. He should be able to return outstanding value in this matchup, especially if he’s in the starting five and gets close to around 30 minutes.
