Did you enjoy seeing Joel Embiid (knee) back out on the court last night? Well too bad. As many of us could have predicted, the big man will sit on Wednesday against the Cavaliers — the second leg of the 76ers’ back-to-back set. Joining him in street clothes will also be Paul George (knee).

PG/SG Jared McCain, Philadelphia 76ers at Cleveland Cavaliers, $4,500
Even before getting tonight’s injury report, it appeared we were in the midst of the McCain breakout. The rookie guard has logged over 30 minutes in three straight contests, a span of time where McCain is averaging a robust 22.7 points and 30.3 FPTS. In fact, in Tuesday’s loss to the Knicks, McCain finished second on the team in scoring (23), second on the team in field goal attempts (16) and second on the team in usage rate (29.5%). I can only imagine how high that last figure might go in a game where Philadelphia is playing without three All-Stars. Guerschon Yabusele ($4,300) and Jeff Dowtin ($3,500) are other names below $5K to keep on eye on, but neither has the ceiling of McCain. He’ll be popular, but incredibly viable.
