In the Eastern Conference, the Cleveland Cavaliers continue their dominant run, with 12 straight wins to start the season. Their fast start has positioned them as a real contender early on, while other teams like the Milwaukee Bucks are still grappling with a disappointing start.
The Philadelphia 76ers, meanwhile, have struggled to find their rhythm without Joel Embiid, but with his return, they look to turn things around and establish momentum amid a poor start.
Out West, the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors have set the pace, with both teams enjoying solid starts to the season. Phoenix had found its groove with its star trio of Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, though Durant recently went down with a calf strain. Meanwhile, Golden State has managed to stay competitive with plenty of impact from Buddy Hield, who helped fill the void during Stephen Curry’s absence. Finally, Chet Holmgren’s injury raises questions about the Thunder as they try to sustain their early success.
