Noah Brown ($6,200)
Noah Brown is one of the best August additions in recent memory. Once Houston cut ties with the 28-year-old pass catcher, Washington promptly scooped him up, inserting him immediately as the second receiver on the depth chart. He’s done a great job as a complimentary piece on one of the league’s most prolific offenses.
He’s a physical threat on the outside who only needs a sliver of space to make a play. Brown’s stats are solid, but the opportunity shows a player who gets enough looks to have a monster showing in the near future. He’s had at least six targets in three straight contests and is getting plenty of attention on late downs. Philadelphia has a solid secondary but is susceptible to duds. Brown is a handful and is due to cross the century mark for the first time this campaign.
Jahan Dotson ($4,200)
Revenge games are always fascinating. They tend to fall on either end of the spectrum, with the returning player either torching his old club or hardly being a factor at all. The latter has been the story of Jahan Dotson’s season, as he has been invisible since being traded to Philadelphia. He has just two catches in the last four weeks, struggling to make even a minimal impact.
This goes beyond the numbers — Dotson will be a man on a mission against his former squad. His raw talent is evident, but it just hasn’t translated to the field for some time. He’s netting 59% of offensive snaps, so the chance for a breakout is there. In a game with so many stars, Dotson is an intriguing budget option to keep an eye on.
