UPDATE: Jones has returned to Sunday’s game and he has already seen carries after returning.
UPDATE: Jones is questionable to return Sunday vs. the Jaguars with a chest injury. Cam Akers should operate as the Vikings’ top back with Jones missing and if the veteran is expected to miss any time going forward, Akers will be one of the hottest pick ups off the waiver wire for Week 11.
UPDATE: Jones has now been carted to the locker room. An official status for the back has yet to be announced.
Jones was shook up after a hard hit in the third quarter of Sunday’s matchup with the Jaguars and the back is being examined in the medical tent on the Vikings’ sideline.
Before going down, Jones had rushed 13 times for 71 yards, and he had caught two of his three targets for 13 yards (10.4 FPTS). In the $2.75 Million Fantasy Football Millionaire, Jones was a popular option, being rostered by 30.6% of the field. If the veteran doesn’t return, the Vikings should rely on Cam Akers as their top back.
