We have reached Week 10 of the 2024 NFL season, and there are 12 games slated for this upcoming Sunday, followed by the Dolphins traveling to the Rams on Monday night. That means there are plenty of opportunities to win prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook this weekend. Below are some of my favorite prop bets available for Week 10.
OVER Picks
RB James Cook Over 63.5 Rush Yds (-115)
James Cook has had an up-and-down season rushing the ball but has been a solid option when given the appropriate amount of attempts. Cook is averaging 4.6 yards per carry on the season, a respectable number. He has only gone over this total in half of his eight games so far this season, but Sunday presents an opportunity for Buffalo to run the ball more than they usually do.
The Bills travel to face the Colts this weekend, who have struggled mightily to stop the run. Indianapolis is 31st in the league against the rush, allowing 149.8 yards per game on the ground. The Bills should pound the rock this Sunday, and hopefully, with that, Cook should hit the over number on this total.
QB Sam Darnold Over 1.5 Pass TDs (-150)
This is arguably my favorite prop bet of the weekend, and I expect Darnold to have a big game on Sunday. He has thrown multiple touchdowns in six of his eight starts this season and has a great matchup on Sunday.
The Vikings will face the Jaguars this Sunday, who have struggled to stop anything through the air this season. Jacksonville is 31st against the pass and is tied for last in terms of passing touchdowns given up. They allow an average of 2.1 passing touchdowns per game, and I wouldn’t be shocked if Darnold threw for three or four this Sunday. Darnold is tied for fourth in the NFL in touchdown passes with 17, so this seems to be a great matchup for him to hit the over.
TE George Kittle Over 55.5 Rec Yds (-120)
Kittle has hit the over on this number in five of his seven games this season, and I don’t see any reason why he won’t do it again this Sunday. The 49ers have injury concerns at receiver, which only opens the door more for Kittle to have a big day. Brandon Aiyuk has already been ruled out for the season, while their other superstar Deebo Samuel’s status for Sunday is still up in the air.
Regardless, Kittle should remain a big part of this passing attack. He has been super consistent as of late, recording five catches and 55 yards in each of his last four games. Kittle also has six touchdowns over his last six games, so taking a look at his anytime touchdown scorer odds (-110) might be well worth your time.
UNDER Picks
QB Bryce Young Under 177.5 Pass Yds (-115)
This Week 10 article would not be complete without the addition of Bryce Young’s passing under. Young has started four games for Carolina this season, only hitting the over on this total on one occasion. The Panthers face the Giants in London this Sunday, and New York has been a top 10 passing defense so far this season. The Giants only allow 191.6 passing yards per game, and here comes a passing offense and quarterback who are struggling mightily.
Young is averaging 160 yards per start this season, and I just can’t see him having an above-average day against one of the best secondaries that he will face for the rest of the season. I like Young to go under this total on Sunday, and I could see it being a long day for the Panthers offense as a whole.
QB Kyler Murray Under 199.5 Pass Yds (-120)
Murray has gone under this total in five of his nine games so far this season, and I believe that trend will continue this Sunday. Murray and the Cardinals will host the Jets on Sunday, who are elite at stopping the pass. New York ranks second in the league in passing yards allowed and is coming off their most dominant performance of the season against Houston. They made C.J. Stroud look average in Week 9 as he completed only 36.7% of his passes, and threw for no touchdowns and under 200 yards.
This is arguably Murray’s toughest test of the season so far, and he has already struggled to break 200 passing yards against worse competition. The Cardinals may very well end up winning this game, but I don’t think it will be because of Murray’s success in the air. The Jets are much better against the pass than the run, so this might be the perfect game for James Connor.
QB Justin Herbert Under 222.5 Pass Yds (-115)
Justin Herbert has hit the over on this number in each of his last four starts, so why am I taking the under here? Well, he is faced with the toughest possible match-up this Sunday. The Chargers will host the Tennessee Titans, who are the best defense in the league at stopping the pass. Tennessee has been elite in that department, only allowing just over 155 yards per game. Herbert has been passing the ball more lately, but I wouldn’t be shocked if the Chargers went a different direction this weekend.
They very well might have more success on the ground, as the Titans rank 11th in the league in that category. It’s been a mixed bag for Herbert this season, as he went under this total in each of his first four games to start the year, before hitting the over on this total in each of the last four. Despite his recent passing statistics, I will take the under in this spot because of the matchup.
