Here are Josh Allen’s current prop bet odds at DraftKings Sportsbook: o/u 237.5 passing yards, o/u 1.5 passing touchdowns and o/u 24.5 rushing yards. Allen is +155 to score a touchdown, +1100 to score 2+ touchdowns, and +900 to score the first touchdown of the game.
Josh Allen is a serious MVP candidate with the way he has played for Buffalo this season. He is currently third in the league in EPA+CPOE composite and the Buffalo offense is 3rd in EPA/play and EPA/dropback. The offense has scored 30+ points in three straight games and they look unstoppable at this point. Josh Allen is also throwing the ball at a very high rate over that stretch with 33 or more passing attempts in each of those three games.
The Colts are a good matchup for Allen and the Bills as well. They are 21st in defensive EPA/dropback and 26th in total passing defense so Allen should be able to hit shots downfield against Indianapolis. The Colts just gave up 290 passing yards and three passing touchdowns to Sam Darnold and the Vikings last week. The Bills have a similarly dangerous passing attack that should be able to beat the Indianapolis secondary.
Buffalo is sixth in the league in red zone touchdown percentage and in recent weeks that has been through the air. Josh Allen had had two or more passing touchdowns in each of his past four games, including last week where he had three passing touchdowns against the Dolphins. Allen and the Bills should be able to move the ball efficiently and get plenty of chances to score. When they do, Allen’s arm will be put to good use and get them in the end zone.
