Here are Breece Hall’s current prop bet odds at DraftKings Sportsbook: o/u 66.5 rushing yards, o/u 3.5 receptions and o/u 28.5 receiving yards. Hall is -155 to score a touchdown, +380 to score 2+ touchdowns, and +475 to score the first touchdown of the game.
Breece Hall, just like the Jets, has had an up-and-down season so far. Hall was projected by some to be the RB1 for season-long fantasy this year and to have a true breakout season for New York. However, it was a relatively slow start to the season and an even slower middle of the season where Hall was basically splitting snaps with rookie RB Braelon Allen. During that stretch of the season, Hall was a much bigger receiving threat than he was a running threat. However, in recent weeks the Jets’ offensive line has really improved their run blocking and Hall has become the main man out of the backfield once again.
In the past two games, Hall had 15 carries and 16 carries which is a mark he had only hit in one of four games before that. More importantly, Hall was incredibly productive on those carries averaging 5.0 and 4.9 YPC. As a result, Hall wasn’t used as much as a receiver out of the backfield. In the past two games, he combined for just three catches and 20 receiving yards. The Cardinals are 25th in the league in EPA/rush on defense and Hall should be able to get after them on the ground.
Hall has become much more of a rushing threat than a receiving threat so I am betting on him to go under his receiving prop of 28.5 yards. With the emergence of Davante Adams and Garrett Wilson, Aaron Rodgers is looking downfield much more than he was earlier on in the season. Hall should only get a couple of targets and unless he breaks a big one, he should stay under this number.
