Warriors +4 (-112)
The Warriors come into Friday’s game as 4-point underdogs against the undefeated Cavaliers, who are off to a franchise-best 9-0 start. Cleveland, led by Donovan Mitchell, has been rolling, most recently taking down the Pelicans, 131-122. Head coach Kenny Atkinson has quickly built a strong rapport with his new team, and the Cavs have shown versatility in their wins, from blowouts to close games.
Golden State, however, remains a formidable opponent. After an impressive 118-112 road win over the Celtics, the Warriors are now 7-1, with Stephen Curry driving the team’s success. While they may be without Draymond Green, De’Anthony Melton, and Brandin Podziemski, the Warriors still have Curry to set the tone. Golden State has a solid chance to cover the +4 spread in what should be a highly competitive game in Cleveland.
Heat +3 (-112)
The Heat, 3-point underdogs, aim to bounce back Friday against the Nuggets after a tough 115-112 loss in Phoenix to open their six-game road trip. Miami led by 15 in the third quarter but faltered late, prompting lineup tweaks from coach Erik Spoelstra, including increased minutes for Haywood Highsmith, who scored 19 points and defended well.
Denver, meanwhile, is dealing with injuries, as Aaron Gordon remains out with a calf strain, and Jamal Murray is questionable with a concussion. Russell Westbrook has stepped up in Murray’s absence, scoring 21 and 29 points in recent games. Despite Denver’s adjustments, the Heat’s defensive versatility could help them cover the +3 spread in a close matchup.
Suns +2.5 (-112)
The Suns enter Friday’s matchup against the Mavericks as 2.5-point underdogs, carrying a six-game win streak and looking to secure their eighth win in nine games. Phoenix defeated Dallas 114-102 in their last meeting, overcoming a 40-point night from Luka Doncic with a balanced scoring effort led by Kevin Durant’s 31 points. Durant, averaging 27.8 points per game, has been critical to Phoenix’s success, with Devin Booker close behind at 24.4 points per game.
Dallas, meanwhile, aims for back-to-back wins after a 119-99 victory over the Bulls, highlighted by improved ball movement and 33 team assists. Although Doncic and Irving are elite isolation scorers, the Mavericks are working on a more fluid offense. Despite this, Phoenix’s late-game composure and strong recent form make the Suns a solid pick to cover the +2.5 spread.
Hawks +1 (-108)
The Hawks head to Detroit as 1-point favorites after a 121-116 win over the Knicks, fueled by Zaccharie Risacher’s breakout 33-point performance. Atlanta closed the game with a decisive 13-1 run, highlighting its ability to deliver in clutch moments. Jalen Johnson also contributed significantly with 23 points and 15 rebounds, while Trae Young bounced back from a quiet night against Boston with 23 points and 10 assists.
Coming off a heartbreaking one-point loss to Charlotte on a last-second putback, Detroit may face challenges if center Jalen Duren (ankle) is limited. Although Cade Cunningham posted his second consecutive triple-double, his shooting struggles could be an issue against Atlanta’s improving defense. With the Hawks’ recent momentum and late-game execution, they’re well-positioned to cover the +1 spread in Detroit.
Bilal Coulibaly Over 14.5 Points (-125)
Bilal Coulibaly has quickly become a critical offensive presence for the Wizards, averaging 17.7 points over six games this season and upping that to 19.6 points in his last five outings. With Kyle Kuzma sidelined, Coulibaly has taken on a more significant role in the Wizards’ offense, showing consistency both as a scorer and a rebounder.
The Grizzlies, facing uncertainty with Ja Morant’s status, may be stretched thin defensively, relying heavily on players like Jaren Jackson Jr. and rookie Jaylen Wells. This opens up opportunities for Coulibaly to exploit Memphis’ depth and continue his strong scoring trend. Given his recent surge and increased minutes, Coulibaly is well-positioned to exceed the 14.5 points line.
