There are some big games in Week 11 that should feature some exciting individual offensive performances. Here is how to bet on their player props on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Indiana vs. Michigan: Kurtis Rourke 3+ Passing Touchdowns (+180)
Kurtis Rourke and Indiana are having a magical season. They are undefeated heading into Week 11 and hosting the defending national champions with a chance to move to 10-0 on the season. Rourke has made Indiana one of the country’s passing offenses. The Hoosiers are 1st in the country in EPA/dropback, Rourke is 2nd in QBR and Rourke is 4th in touchdown passes per passing attempt. This Indiana offense has been unstoppable all season but specifically in his last four games Rourke has 11 touchdown passes.
Michigan’s secondary is having a really tough year. They have dealt with injuries on the back end including projected first-round pick Will Johnson who is likely to miss this game as well. However, new DC Wink Martindale has struggled to replicate the magic of last year’s defense which led the nation in scoring defense. The front seven is still a solid unit but this defense can be thrown on. Michigan is 79th in the country in passing defense and they have been shredded by any competent QB they have faced this season.
Quinn Ewers and Miller Moss hit this three-passing touchdown mark against the Wolverines and Will Rogers and Dillon Gabriel moved the ball easily against this secondary as well. Indiana might be worried about running the ball against the Michigan front inside the red zone which will lead to Rourke airing it out. This is a statement game for Indiana and Rourke should have a big day.
South Carolina at Vanderbilt: Joshua Simon Anytime Touchdown (+260)
South Carolina’s offense put on an incredible display against Texas A&M last week. The Aggies have one of the top defenses in the country but South Carolina was able to move the ball against them in multiple ways. The emergence of tight end Joshua Simon played a big role in that. Simon had 132 receiving yards and scored two touchdowns. He also dropped a touchdown in the end zone that could have made it three for the tight end.
Freshman Gamecock QB LaNorris Sellers is not going to totally air it out down the field but he is improving as a passer as the season goes on. That makes the tight end such a valuable asset for him. Simon was the guy Sellers was looking at in the red zone last week and Simon showed he has great speed for a tight end as he broke a screen pass for a touchdown. Simon also scored a touchdown the week before against Oklahoma.
Vanderbilt has a very vulnerable secondary that South Carolina will try to take advantage of. Their defense is 84th in the country in EPA/pass and has been exposed by the likes of Jalen Milroe, Quinn Ewers, Kyron Drones and Brady Cook already this season. South Carolina should be able to move the ball against the Commodores and give red-zone chances to Simon.
Clemson at Virginia Tech: Phil Mafah 103+ Rushing Yards (-115)
Clemson suffered a pretty embarrassing loss to Lousiville at home last week. Now, they head to Virginia Tech for a game they need to win if they want to keep their ACC Championship aspirations alive. Virginia Tech has one of the best home atmospheres in the country and the crowd should be wild for this game. With that in mind, Clemson should run the ball heavily to start this game to quiet the crowd and control the clock. If Clemson plays well they should be winning this game in the fourth quarter and will want to go run-heavy too. The whole game script for the Tigers should result in a large amount of carries for Mafah.
Last week, Mafah was the one bright spot of the team with an incredible 171 rushing yards. Mafah has cleared this number of 103 rushing yards in five out of eight games that he has played this season. Mafah is averaging over 6 yards per carry and is a reliable down-to-down back but can also break a big run. Virginia Tech is 73rd in defensive rushing success rate and 83rd in rushing yards per game allowed. Mafah should be able to pick up first downs on the ground and grind away at this Hokie defense for well over 100 yards.
Alabama at LSU: Jalen Milroe 50+ Rushing Yards (+105)
This is a must-win game for Alabama. With two losses, they need to win the rest of their games to make the College Football Playoff. That means Kalen DeBoer will not hesitate to do whatever it takes to win this game. That includes using Jalen Milroe’s legs which are this offense’s greatest weapon. In big games all year, Milroe has run the ball both on designed runs and scrambles. Alabama has a relatively easy schedule the rest of the season and won’t need Milroe to be at 100% health so he should put it all on the line in this game.
Milroe had 75 rushing yards against Wisconsin, an incredible 117 rushing yards against Georgia and 50 rushing yards last week against Missouri. Milroe has had double-digit rushing attempts in every game this year but one. LSU’s defense has also been vulnerable to running QBs this season. South Carolina’s LaNorris Sellers had 88 rushing yards and two touchdowns. In LSU’s previous game, Texas A&M’s Marcel Reid had 62 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Milroe should be able to replicate those types of numbers in this game against the Tigers.
