What happened to Zion Williamson? Live injury updates for Pelicans vs. Cavaliers

UPDATE: Pelicans PF Zion Williamson is expected to return Wednesday vs. the Cavaliers.

Early in the second quarter of Wednesday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Zion Williamson committed a foul on the perimeter then walked to the locker room. It is not known at this time what injury he suffered, how it occured or the severity of it.

Prior to exiting, Williamson contributed six points, three rebounds and an assist in 10 minutes.
