The Grizzlies head to Brooklyn on Monday to take on the Nets. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Memphis is a five-point favorite and this game’s total is set at 225 points.

Ja Morant O 9.5 assists (+105)

At this favorable price of +105, Morant is a terrific bet to go over this assist prop. This season, the guard is averaging 9.8 assists per game – a career high – and Morant is averaging 16.5 potential assists per game, both of which rank fourth in the NBA. The star has posted double-digit assists in all but one of his six starts this season, including an 11-assist showing against the same Nets team Morant will face Monday.

The guard logged a season-high 31 minutes in his last start and he should see right around 30 minutes again tonight in this five-point spread with Brooklyn. The Nets rank 17th in defensive efficiency and they are playing their second game in two nights. Plus, the Grizzlies remain without both Desmond Bane (oblique) and Marcus Smart (ankle). With these two key ball handlers off the floor the last two seasons, Morant’s assist rate has skyrocketed 12.1 percentage points to a huge 55.2%. The guard is averaging 11.2 assists on a per 30-minute basis with Bane and Smart off the court the last two seasons and Morant is an awesome bet to go over 9.5 assists at +105.
