UPDATE MONDAY 1:50 p.m. ET: Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported that Prescott is now expected to miss multiple weeks due to the hamstring injury he suffered Sunday:

UPDATE 3:21 p.m. ET: Dak Prescott (hamstring) won’t return to today’s game against the Falcons. It was earlier reported that this was a hand injury, but the team has officially called it a hamstring.
It’s unclear, as of yet, if pulling Prescott is just the Cowboys throwing in the towel after that last Falcons’ Allgeier touchdown, or whether this designates a significant injury.
Either way, Cooper Rush will be leading Dallas’ attempted comeback over Atlanta. It remains a gettable game for the Cowboys, who are, at this point in the season, desperate for a statement win like this.
They’ll have to do it without their superstar quarterback.
UPDATE 3:16 p.m. ET: Dak Prescott’s injury is to his right throwing hand, Jane Slater reports. As of yet, it’s unclear on which play this occurred.

Just after an offensive drive that sent the game to the fourth quarter, Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott headed into the medical tent with trainers with an apparent injury. This is a game that’s already seen superstar Drake London leave with an injury.
Dak was leading a struggling Cowboys offense against an inspired Falcons defense, and any sort of injury would obviously hamper Dallas’s ability to comfortably close the gap in the current 13-21 score.
Before this current injury concern, Dak was 18 of 24 passing for 133 yards and a touchdown. While the completion percentage is sparkling, the yardage and yards per attempt are unacceptable for a Dallas offense with such robust playoff hopes as this one does. Their only touchdown so far came on a freak, off-platform play that resulted in Rico Dowdle catching the ball after juggling it several times.
We’ll provide more updates as the team releases them, and will especially keep an eye on whether or not Dak has his helmet on before his next drive.
