The Kansas City Chiefs are the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL and will be looking to move to 8-0 against the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.

The Chiefs enter this matchup as nine-point favorites while the Buccaneers are +350 on the money line. Here is a look at the top Patrick Mahomes prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Patrick Mahomes Prop Bets for Chiefs vs Buccaneers

DraftKings Sportsbook has Patrick Mahomes’ props set at o/u 249.5 passing yards, o/u 1.5 passing touchdowns, o/u 20.5 rushing yards, and +320 odds for an anytime touchdown.

Mahomes has not played up to his lofty standards so far this season. He is tied for the most interceptions in the NFL with nine, has thrown just eight passing touchdowns touchdowns, and is averaging 235.9 passing yards per game this year which is well below his career average of 292.0 passing yards per game.

Tampa Bay presents a great opportunity to begin turning things around as they have struggled as a defensive unit this year. Through the opening eight games, they rank 28th in points allowed and 30th in yards given up. The Buccaneers have especially struggled defending the pass as they rank 29th in passing yards allowed and 27th in passing touchdowns given up. Just last week Kirk Cousins threw for 276 yards and four touchdowns without recording an interception. They also allowed 509 passing yards to Cousins in Week 5.

While Mahomes has struggled to get on the same page as his top pass-catchers more than in past years, he is too good for this to last. This is a perfect matchup for the breakout to occur.

Throughout his career, Mahomes has thrown for an average of 355.5 passing yards when facing the Buccaneers. He has thrown for as many as 331 yards in a game this season and his best football is still set to occur. Tampa Bay has allowed 275 yards through the air to four different quarterbacks with Jayden Daniels, Jalen Hurts, Spencer Rattler, and Bo Nix being the four quarterbacks that have failed to reach this total.

The typical passing total at 249.5 passing yards holds plenty of appeal, as Mahomes has reached this number three times even amid the statistical struggles. While it is crazy to think the quarterback who is third in MVP odds at +600 and playing for a 7-0 football team has yet to play his best football on the year, this is the reality of the situation.

Look for Mahomes to begin playing closer to his usual output and throw for 275+ yards in this matchup.

The Pick: Patrick Mahomes over 275+ Passing Yards (+165)
