NFL Week 9 Start or Sit: Keenan Allen

NFL Week 9 Start or Sit: Keenan Allen

While Keenan Allen’s ($5,500) numbers have been inconsistent this season, the veteran’s usage has remained strong, with Allen leading the Bears with a 25.4% target share. In just five games, the receiver has seen five red-zone targets and four targets over 20 yards.

The problem has been Allen’s chemistry with rookie quarterback Caleb Williams ($6,100), with Allen only catching 53% of his targets this season, which is a career low for the receiver. That being said, the Bears find themselves in a terrific spot Sunday vs. the Cardinals.

Arizona is yielding the fourth-most yards per pass (7.6) and quarterbacks are completing passes against the Cardinals at the third-highest rate in the NFL (71.7%).

On DraftKings Sportsbook, this tilt carries a high total of 45 points and Allen’s props are solid, at 4.5 receptions and 44.5 receiving yards.

While our expectations need to be tempered, Allen should produce double-digit FPTS in this spot and he is a viable WR3/FLEX play for Week 9.
