Best Kareem Hunt Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Kareem Hunt 60+ Rushing Yards (-125)
The Chiefs have prioritized giving Kareem Hunt the rock. He’s had over 20 attempts in three straight outings and has been the featured back near the goal line. The efficiency has left plenty of room for improvement, but the vast workload is too significant to ignore. Andy Reid clearly trusts the 29-year-olds ability to withstand that many rushes while protecting the ball. The volume helps set up the play-action pass game, where Patrick Mahomes shines.
Tampa Bay is 18th in EPA per play against the run, and the defense’s leader, Lavonte David, is dealing with injuries to his ankle and chest. If Hunt’s touches remain constant, he’ll need to average just around three yards per carry to cross this line. He’s a bruiser and has struggled to generate chunk opportunities, but the slow grind should be enough to crush this threshold.
Kareem Hunt Under 2.5 Receptions (-175)
Since returning to the franchise last month, Hunt has yet to catch more than two passes in a game and has had only three targets once. Samaje Perine is the preferred option on obvious passing downs and Hunt has never been great with his hands. It’s hard to imagine Hunt getting enough work underneath to garner three receptions.
Parlaying both these props on the DraftKings Sportsbook would be +136.
