Thunder -5.5 (-110)
Oklahoma City heads into Saturday’s game against LA with a perfect 5-0 record, riding high off a dominant 137-114 win over Portland. The Thunder have been relentless, with efficient scoring from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and impressive depth that allows their bench to contribute consistently. Their starters were able to rest in the fourth quarter on Friday, putting Oklahoma City in a favorable position for this back-to-back matchup. With momentum on their side and a well-rested lineup, the Thunder look primed to cover the -5.5 spread.
The Clippers, still finding their rhythm with James Harden and no Kawhi Leonard, have yet to secure a home win at the Intuit Dome and are coming off a frustrating 125-119 loss to Phoenix. Despite Harden’s triple-double, defensive lapses plagued LA, as they allowed the Suns to shoot over 60% in the second half. Coach Tyronn Lue emphasized the need for fewer turnovers and stronger defensive execution, but the Clippers’ inconsistencies make them vulnerable. With Oklahoma City’s strong form and LA’s recent struggles, backing the Thunder to cover -5.5 at -110 appears to be a solid play.
Timberwolves -3.5 (-108)
Minnesota travels to San Antonio on Saturday after a 119-116 comeback win over Denver on Friday night. Anthony Edwards led the way with 29 points, while Rudy Gobert sealed the victory with two clutch free throws in the final seconds, helping the Wolves close out a successful homestand. Although they’re still adjusting to the new dynamic with Julius Randle sharing a lead role with Edwards, Minnesota’s defensive effort has been solid, which could prove crucial in this matchup.
San Antonio returns home following a 106-88 win at Utah. Victor Wembanyama showcased his all-around skill with 25 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, five blocks, and five steals. However, despite their strong defensive showing, head coach Gregg Popovich noted the Spurs aren’t yet a top-level defensive team. With Minnesota’s momentum and defensive edge, the Timberwolves are in a good position to cover the -3.5 spread against a developing San Antonio squad.
Cavaliers +2 (-112)
Cleveland heads to Milwaukee on Saturday aiming to extend its 6-0 start, their best since 2016-17, following a 120-109 win over Orlando. Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell combined for 47 points, while Evan Mobley notched a double-double as the Cavs showed off their new, high-efficiency offense under coach Kenny Atkinson. Cleveland has shot 53.3% from the field and 40.8% from deep through six games, blending defensive intensity with potent scoring.
Milwaukee, meanwhile, has dropped four straight, including a rough 122-99 loss to Memphis. In that game, Damian Lillard struggled and shot 1-for-12, while Antetokounmpo’s 37-point, 11-rebound night wasn’t enough to overcome defensive issues and poor shooting depth. With Khris Middleton sidelined, the Bucks have lacked consistent secondary scoring and have struggled to close defensive gaps. Given Cleveland’s momentum and Milwaukee’s recent form, the Cavs at +2 look like a strong play.
Gradey Dick Over 18.5 Points (-115)
Gradey Dick has found his scoring groove, surpassing 30 points in back-to-back games, including a career-high 31 against the Lakers on Friday. With multiple key players sidelined — Immanuel Quickley, Scottie Barnes, Bruce Brown, and Kelly Olynyk — Dick is expected to maintain a leading role in the Raptors’ offense. His recent consistency from the field, averaging over 50% shooting in the last three games, combined with his green light on a rebuilding squad, makes the over 18.5 points line at -115 an appealing bet as he looks to stay hot.
Tyus Jones Over 7.5 Assists (-110)
Tyus Jones continues to be a key playmaker in Phoenix, tallying 11 assists in 33 minutes during Thursday’s win over the Clippers. Playing over 30 minutes in each of his games with Phoenix, Jones has dished out seven or more assists in three of his five appearances, averaging 7.0 assists per game. Given his consistent role in the offense and the steady distribution numbers he’s posted, the over 7.5 assists line at -110 looks like a solid bet as he tries to stay active as the Suns’ primary facilitator.
