An injury to fellow wide receiver Puka Nacua popped up on Thursday. It’s being reported that Nacua aggravated the same knee that kept him sidelined for weeks earlier this season. With his chances of playing looking uncertain, this could be a monster volume game for Cooper Kupp.

Let’s talk about a Copper Kupp anytime touchdown bet in Week 9.

Kupp has only played three games this season but has two touchdowns in those games. While his target share hasn’t been high when Nacua is active, we have a real chance to have Kupp to be the true WR1 against the Seahawks on Sunday. We saw that massive volume back in Week 1, when Kupp drew a ridiculous 21 targets in which he made 14 catches for 110 yards and a touchdown.

The Seahawks have not been strong against the pass. Lining up in the slot will put Kupp against CB Devon Witherspoon. In coverage, Witherspoon has allowed a 76% catch rate on 42 targets. He hasn’t been scored on yet but this is the toughest matchup to face this season. With three games under his belt, Kupp already has five red zone targets under his belt. Kupp will have to combat the usage of Kyren Williams in the red zone but he’ll undoubtedly be one of the top options. Grab Kupp to score at plus money for Week 9.
