Although the Lakers have lost a few in a row, Anthony Davis has had an incredible start to the season. He is leading the team in scoring with 30.6 points per game and is third in the NBA in scoring behind Nikola Jokic and Tyrese Maxey.
Davis averaged 24.7 PPG during the 2023-24 season. Although this is a small sample size, Davis has had a bigger impact on the Lakers’ offense this season. The most he previously averaged in a full season was 28 PPG in 2016-17.
