Week 8 ended with the Steelers holding off the Giants on Monday night, and now our attention switches to Week 9 of the 2024 NFL season. There are 12 games to choose from in this week’s DraftKings millionaire contest, and having a QB/WR stack from the same team can make or break your lineup. They double up on receiving yards and touchdowns, so if you pick the right duo and they have a big day, it can be twice as rewarding. With all that said, below are my four favorite stacks for this Sunday’s main slate.

4. Jayden Daniels ($7,500)/ Terry McLaurin ($7,100), Commanders at Giants
Daniels is only the fourth most expensive quarterback on this week’s slate, and that feels like you are getting a discount as he is fourth in the NFL in DraftKings fantasy points among all players this season (166.8). He is averaging 20.9 FPTS per game this year and is a threat to score 30+ on any given Sunday. His favorite receiver, Terry McLaurin, is seventh in FPTS this season, so this duo has already been putting up huge numbers in the fantasy streets.
They will be matched up against a Giants secondary that has been stingy, ranking 8th in receiving yards allowed this season. They have been a little more generous in terms of fantasy points, allowing the 11th most FPTS to opposing quarterbacks and rank middle of the pack against opposing receivers. This duo should be able to perform against anyone the way they are playing right now in this Commanders’ offense.
3. Dak Prescott ($6,300)/ CeeDee Lamb ($8,800), Cowboys at Falcons
Despite the loss to the 49ers last week, these two had a very productive week. Lamb was targeted a season-high 17 times and caught 13 of those for 146 yards and two scores. All of these were season highs for Lamb, and a breakout performance like that is exactly what we’ve been waiting for from Lamb all season. As a result, he is now the highest-priced receiver on the slate, but is still worth the salary due to the great matchup he has.
The Cowboys will be facing off against the Falcons, who allow the ninth most FPTS to opposing receivers and the 10th most to opposing quarterbacks. Prescott has not been a great play for fantasy purposes so far this season, averaging 17 FPTS per game, but this could be the week he has a breakout performance of his own. Atlanta ranks 18th in the NFL against the pass, allowing 215.5 passing yards per game.
2. Joe Burrow ($6,900)/ Ja’Marr Chase ($8,600), Raiders at Bengals
Surprise surprise. Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are one of my top four stacks once again, but this time they have dropped to second spot. Why you may ask? These two had a down week against the Eagles, with Chase recording nine catches for only 54 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown certainly helped, but 54 yards is not moving the needle, especially with 11 targets. I expect the NFL’s leading receiver to bounce back this week, and I hope his quarterback will do the same.
With the Bengals at 3-5, this game is crucial for their season and they absolutely need the face of the franchise to step up in a spot like this. He wasn’t terrible in Sunday’s loss to the Eagles, but his one touchdown to one interception ratio in the game is not good enough to guarantee a win. Despite their struggles as a team, Burrow is still fifth among quarterbacks in DraftKings FPTS, while Chase is first among receivers.
1. Jalen Hurts ($7,800)/A.J. Brown ($8,100), Jaguars at Eagles
These two certainly don’t come at a cheap price this week, but I believe they are well worth the price and are by far my favorite stack this week. Hurts is third in FPTS per game among quarterbacks (22.5), while Brown’s 21.4 is second among receivers. These two have had their way when on the field this season and things are likely to get even better this Sunday.
The Jaguars are a great matchup, giving up the second most FPTS to opposing QBs and fourth most to opposing WRs. They also give up the second most passing yards per game in the league, which is only better than the Ravens. A.J. Brown has only played four games this season but has been dominant when on the field. He is averaging 102 yards per game and already has three touchdowns. These two have to be in your lineups this Sunday.
