Wednesday’s eleven-game slate of NBA action means there’s plenty of ways to find value in season-long fantasy and DFS formats. Yet even with so many matchups, there’s plenty of risk, so making the right choice is essential. Here are three centers I’m looking to back tonight.

1. Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers at CLE ($10,200)
The vibes are immaculate right now in Los Angeles, and it all starts with Anthony Davis. With LeBron James pushing 40, the Lakers are starting to rely on their other future Hall of Famer even more. So far, the big man has put up 32.8 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks over four games, bringing the intensity on both ends of the floor.
Wednesday’s matchup with the Cavaliers isn’t a walk in the park. Cleveland boasts two stellar interior defenders in Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley. Still, this is Anthony Davis we’re talking about. In AD’s previous two games against the Cavs, he averaged 27 points and 13 rebounds. There may be no safer bet in the NBA to get a double-double than The Brow, making him a priority add in most fantasy lineups tonight.
2. Karl-Anthony Towns, New York Knicks at MIA ($8,200)
It’s been a mixed bag for Karl-Anthony Towns in his first three games as a Knick. Despite a terrific MSG debut against the Pacers last Friday (21 points, 15 rebounds), KAT has had his fair share of offensive struggles. On the season, he’s averaging just 15.3 points, a clear downtick from what fans expected. It’ll take time for the former All-Star to adjust to life in the Big Apple, but is there the potential for a vintage performance in South Beach?
Although Miami employs All-Defensive team standout Bam Adebayo, Towns has managed to generate a respectable 20.4 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 16 career matchups with the Heat. Those numbers don’t jump off the page, but it’s a solid dose of production at the game’s thinnest position. Unlike the Timberwolves, New York doesn’t have a starting-caliber center like Naz Reid on their bench, so they’ll need KAT to handle a heavy load of the offense. This isn’t the greatest spot for offensive success, but it’s enough to make Towns number two on today’s list.
3. Andre Drummond, Philadelphia 76ers vs. DET ($7,000)
It was difficult to pin down our last selection on the list, as names like Nikola Vucevic ($7,800), Evan Mobley ($7,700), and Adebayo ($7,700) all garnered consideration. However, Andre Drummond is poised for a huge game at a far cheaper price. In Joel Embiid’s absence, the thirteen-year veteran has been his normal self: plenty of boards (13.0 RPG) and easy buckets (10.0 PPG), with absolutely no shooting (54.5% FT).
Against his old team, expect Drummond to feast tonight. Last season, the Pistons surrendered 54.4 points in the paint per game, fourth-most in the NBA. In addition, the former All Star is averaging 11.7 points and 10.1 rebounds against Detroit in 11 career matchups, despite playing just over 20 minutes per game. Considering the 76ers need him to play close to 30 minutes, Drummond has the most value of any center on Wednesday’s slate.
