The Wizards small forward left Monday’s game vs. the Hawks early in the fourth quarter due to groin soreness and has been ruled out for Wednesday’s matchup against, again, the Hawks.

Washington is calling his injury a right groin sprain and there is no timetable on his return to action.
Kuzma put up 25 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists in 40 minutes of action before exiting on Monday and played a major role in the Wizards’ comeback-win over Atlanta. While he struggled in his first two games this season, Kuzma is averaging 17 PPG, seven RPG, and 3.7 APG with his momentum picking up in game three—before suffering the groin injury, of course. With Kuzma off the floor, Bilal Coulibaly and Jordan Poole will see an increase in scoring opportunities, while Alexandre Sarr—and Coulibaly—will be counted on to clean up the glass.
Stay tuned on DK Network this week for more updates regarding Kuzma’s injury status.
