With Election Day just one week away, we’re reviewing the latest DraftKings odds for the presidential race between former President Donald Trump (R) and Vice President Kamala Harris (D). These betting lines are available exclusively in Ontario, Canada.
Harris’s odds have moved dipped slightly since our latest line movement update late last week, moving from +135 to +150, while Trump’s have improved from -165 to -185. .
According to RealClearPolling, Trump currently holds a narrow +0.1 lead in its average of polls. He also leads Harris across several key battleground states, with a +0.5 advantage in Pennsylvania, +0.8 in North Carolina and +2.3 in Georgia. In Arizona, Trump holds a +1.5 lead, followed by a +0.3 margin in Wisconsin, +0.1 in Michigan and +0.7 in Nevada.
It’s not all bad news for the vice president, however, as the latest ABC News/Ipsos poll, shows Harris with a slight edge among likely voters. Gary Langer notes that voter turnout will play a crucial role, with Harris gaining two percentage points when polling likely voters (51-47) as opposed to registered voters (49-47).
Meanwhile, CNN reports that most voters doubt that Trump will concede if he ends up losing the election. According to a new CNN poll, a good majority of Trump’s backers believe the losing candidate has no obligation to do so. And if legal challenges do arise in the election that have to go to the Supreme Court, a majority of voters polled do not trust the Supreme Court to make the right decision. When looking at the individual candidates, 30% of registered voters believe Trump would concede and accept the election results if he loses, while 73% think Vice President Kamala Harris would accept a defeat.
