Can Najee Harris go OVER his Rushing Prop vs. Giants in NFL Week 8?

NFL Week 8 wraps up with the Giants as road underdogs in Pittsburgh on Monday night. I’m passing on a side and going to a prop, though. The Steelers offense went to another level last week with Russell Wilson, but Harris was able to keep eating on the ground. Here’s how I’m backing him on MNF.

New York Giants at Pittsburgh Steelers

Najee Harris OVER 65.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

1-unit

Harris has gone over this number in five of seven games so far this season. Both of the unders were in favorable matchups, but games the Steelers lost. This team goes as Harris goes on the ground. Yes, Wilson gave the team a spark through the air last week, but Harris has rushed for 69-plus yards in each of the five wins, and 42 or fewer yards in the two losses.

Pittsburgh has really gotten Harris going over the last couple of weeks, going for 14-106-1 at the Raiders, and then 21-102-1 versus the Jets. While Harris is essentially splitting snaps with Jaylen Warren, he’s in there to pound the rock. Last week his 21 carries were a season-high, despite playing on 33 snaps.

The game script looks positive for Harris here, sitting as a six-point home favorite over New York. The Giants rank 23rd in the NFL in rushing yards allowed at nearly 140 per game. That includes the G-Men giving up an absurd 269 yards on the ground just last week to the Eagles. Look for Pittsburgh to exploit that weakness once again on Monday Night Football.
