Trae Young U 39.5 PRA (-115)

Young has had a great start to the season, but he should hit a wall Sunday. Across his first two starts, Young is generating 51.5 PRA per game, but he faced two weak defenses in the Hornets and Nets. Now, Young meets a Thunder defense that has been elite thus far, leading the NBA in efficiency. Oklahoma City is allowing the fewest points in NBA at 91 PPG, which is the best in the league by a comfortable four points. The Thunder went out and traded for Alex Caruso this offseason to improve their defense on the perimeter and that has exactly what he has done. Oklahoma City is giving up the fourth-fewest points to point guards this season and opponents have shot 25% from the field when guarded specifically by Caruso.

Another factor is that the Thunder are a 10-point home favorite for this game on the DraftKings Sportsbook and a blowout is a legitimate possibility. They rank third in net rating this season and have won both of their first two games by an average of 13.5 points.

Young went under 39.5 PRA in both of his matchups with the Thunder last season and he should go under this combo line again Sunday night.
