Stephen Curry continues to look like one of the more ageless superstars in the NBA. The 36-year-old is still playing at an elite level and is looking to keep the championship window open for Golden State.
While the season is still incredibly early, the early signs are positive as the Warriors are 2-0 and have won the pair of matchups by a combined margin of 77 points. These victories have come over the Trail Blazers and Jazz. Golden State will now turn its attention to the Los Angeles Clippers, which should be looked at as its biggest test thus far.
The Warriors enter this game 9.5-point favorites over the Clippers. Los Angeles is considered a +330 underdog on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the game total set at 220.5.

Stephen Curry Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
DraftKings Sportsbook has set Curry’s prop lines across points (24.5), rebounds (3.5), assists (5.5), three-pointers (4.5), and steals (1.5). Here are the top betting options to consider:
Over 24.5 Points (-115): The point line for Steph Curry is set at 24.5 with the odds sitting at -115 for both the over and under. Curry has been off to a bit of a slow start to the season, tallying 17 points in the season-opener and 20 points in the second game. This is well below his career average of 24.7 points per game. The four-time champion averaged 26.4 points per game last season and averaged 29.4 points per game in 2022-23. It also should be noted that he has not played more than 27:25 of game action due to the nature of the blowouts, which is the biggest reason for the lack of numbers.
This will be an interesting matchup for the Warriors as the Clippers have transformed their roster to have a more defensive identity this off-season. Players like Derrick Jones Jr, Amir Coffey, Terrance Mann, and Kris Dunn will likely rotate onto Curry. Regardless, Curry is capable of getting hot better than any other in the league and can swing a game on its head if the opportunity presents itself.
Over 3.5 Rebounds (-135): Curry’s rebounding prop is set at 3.5 for this game with the over favored at -135 odds and the under set at +105. This has quietly been one of Curry’s biggest developments throughout his career as he has averaged as many as 6.1 per game over a season and has recorded 4.7 per game throughout his career. So far this season Curry tallied nine rebounds in the opening game and three in the most recent game.
While it is not the strongest payout, this is my favorite prop for Curry as the lines continue to settle with this new-look Warriors roster.
Over 5.5 Assists (+110): The assist line for Curry is set at 5.5 assists with the under-favored at -140 odds. The 10-time All-Star tallied 10 assists in the opening game, but just four in the matchup with the Jazz. Throughout his career, he has averaged 6.4 assists per game and has averaged as many as 8.5 in a season.
This also is a number that holds some intriguing value. Curry’s assist number could grow significantly in what should be the most minutes he has received in a game so far this year when he faces the Clippers.
Over 4.5 Made Three-Pointers (-105): Curry’s three-point total line is set at 4.5 with the under favored at -125 odds. The NBA’s all-time three-point leader made three long-range attempts in the opening game and four in the second matchup. Overall he is 7-20 on the year.
Curry consistently finds himself among the leaders for most three-pointers and this should not be expected to change this year. He has averaged four or more made three-pointers per game in seven of the past 10 years. The volume of 10 three-point attempts per game is still a positive and this number will increase as the season progresses, but the odds are braced for this.
Over 1.5 Steals (+180): Curry’s defensive ability is also an area where he has improved drastically throughout his career. His prop line is set at 1.5 for this game with the under favored at -238 odds. Curry had two steals in each game thus far but holds career averages of just 0.2 steals per game.
Futures Outlook: While they are no longer the perennial championship threat they once were, the Golden State Warriors should not be counted out. Curry himself is still in the driver’s seat as the face of the franchise. Curry holds +8000 odds to win MVP which is tied for the 10th-best odds. He also is tied for the best odds to win the NBA Clutch Player of the Year Award at +1200 odds.
Looking at the Warriors as a team, they hold -145 odds of making the playoffs. They also hold +1600 odds of winning the Western Conference and +3500 odds of winning the NBA Championship.
