Kyren Williams and the Rams host the Vikings on Thursday Night Football, and DraftKings Sportsbook has plenty of prop bets for the star running back. Below is my favorite Williams prop bet for the game.
Kyren Williams Under 72.5 Rush Yards (-115)
Despite Williams hitting the over on this total in each of his last four starts, I am still taking his rushing under as my favorite prop bet for the game. Despite getting a ton of usage this year, he has yet to perform at an elite level. Despite being 5th in the NFL with 116 carries, Williams only has 436 rushing yards this season, 14th in the league. His 3.8 yards per carry is 40th in the NFL among qualified rushers.
An even bigger problem for Williams with this total is the matchup. The Vikings defense has been amazing against the run this season, ranking 2nd in the NFL. Minnesota only gives up an average of 80 yards per game on the ground, which makes the task even tougher for the Rams running game.
The Vikings defense is much more generous against the pass, ranking 30th in pass yards allowed. Sean McVay will have Cooper Kupp back in the lineup for L.A., and all signs point to offensive success for the Rams going through the air. Although it’s possible he returns to the endzone with eight touchdowns already this season, the anytime touchdown odds for him (-200) are not great. I think at -115, his under for rushing yards is a much better bet.
