Is Puka Nacua playing Thursday vs. the Vikings?

The Rams are getting healthy in a hurry it seems, and they could be close to full strength on Thursday for their home game against the Vikings. Here’s what Mike LaFleur said about the availability of Puka Nacua ($10,600 Showdown), whose 21-day practice window was opened on Tuesday:

Nacua has been sidelined since Week 1 when he had four catches for 35 yards before suffering a PCL sprain vs. the Lions. Even if he is activated, he’ll be an extremely risky play in both season-long fantasy football and in DFS contests like the NFL $1.5M Thursday Night Showdown [$500K to 1st] (MIN @ LAR).

Another factor to consider is that the Rams are getting back Cooper Kupp ($11,000) after he was activated from IR. Kupp is not on the injury report ahead of Thursday’s matchup with the Vikings. He has been sidelined since Week 2 with an ankle sprain. In Week 1, he had 14 catches for 110 yards and 35 fantasy points and had four catches for 37 yards and 7.7 fantasy points in Week 2 before getting hurt.

Adding another layer to the Rams’ receiver situation, Jordan Whittington, who had been filling in for Kupp and Nacua, is out with a shoulder injury. Without Whittington, Tutu Atwell ($4,200) and Demarcus Robinson ($3,000) will likely have to carry plenty of work and each is a decent value option, especially if Nacua does need more time to recover.

Without Nacua or with Nacua extremely limited, Kupp should be in a smash spot against the Vikings, who have been the best matchup in the NFL this season for opposing WRs.

The Rams are 2.5-point home underdogs on Thursday Night Football, and Kupp is +110 to score a touchdown in his first game back. Nacua seems like a long-shot to play, but his questionable tag does leave the door open for him to be activated.
