NFL Pick ‘Em Pools

These pools are easy to use and allow you to have action for the entire NFL season with just one entry fee. For season-long pools, you will go back to the pool every week and pick five games against the spread. Each correct selection is worth one point and each incorrect selection is worth zero points. For single-week pools, the same rules apply.

I will be giving out my five favorite selections and my leans for every other game on the slate every week of the regular season.

Week 8 Picks

Picks Record: 21-14 (60%)

Browns +9.5 vs. Ravens – Jameis Winston will be starting at QB for the Browns as Deshaun Watson is out for the season. Watson was having a historically bad season and Winston will hopefully provide a spark that this offense needs desperately. Nick Chubb found the end zone in his return to the field last week and his productivity will hopefully increase every week as he gets his feel back. The Browns are huge home underdogs against a divisional opponent they’re familiar with and their defense should allow them to hang around.

Cowboys +4.5 vs. 49ers – The 49ers are in a bad spot. Their offense is completely depleted because of all the injuries they have accrued. Meanwhile, the Cowboys are coming off of a bye week and have had two weeks to prepare for how to win this game that they desperately need. The Cowboys should be able to score with the 49ers and this could come down to whoever has the ball last.

Falcons -2.5 vs. Bucs – The Bucs are another team that is depleted on offense as Chris Godwin is out for the year and Mike Evans is out for a few weeks. These two teams went to overtime in a shootout earlier this season which the Falcons won. The Falcons should be able to replicate that offensive success. The Bucs, with their current weapons, will not.

Bengals -2.5 vs. Eagles – The Bengals are starting to string some wins together and a win against the Eagles here could really put their season back on track. Their defense is starting to play much better and Joe Burrow is still playing at an elite level. These teams are pretty similar in terms of composition but the Bengals have the home-field advantage and the better quarterback so they should win this game.

Bears -2.5 vs. Commanders – This is an exciting matchup between the two top quarterbacks drafted this year. Both have played well to start their rookie seasons but Caleb Williams has the better team around him. The Commanders have been incredible on the offensive side of the ball but have beaten up many bad teams this season. The Bears’ defense is much better than the Commanders’ and Chicago should be able to slow them down. The Commanders’ defense will struggle with the plethora of skill position players available to Caleb Williams.

Week 8 Leans

Leans Record: 38-34 (52.7%)

Vikings -3.5 vs. Rams

Colts +5.5 vs. Texans

Packers -4.5 vs. Jaguars

Titans +10.5 vs. Lions

Jets -6.5 vs. Patriots

Cardinals +3.5 vs. Dolphins

Saints +7.5 vs. Chargers

Seahawks +3.5 vs. Bills

Raiders +9.5 vs. Chiefs

Panthers +9.5 vs. Broncos

Giants +6.5 vs. Steelers
