UPDATE 2:03 p.m. ET: David Montgomery was on the field with the Lions offense for their latest drive. He’s back in the game, and it appears he’s cleared any medical concerns with regards to his knee.
UPDATE 1:45 p.m. ET: David Montgomery (knee) is officially questionable to return to today’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.

As the first quarter wound down in what’s been billed as the biggest game of the week, Detroit Lions star RB David Montgomery was helped off the field and ushered into the medical tent. He wasn’t putting much weight on one of his ankles as the trainers ushered him off the field.
It looked like he injured one of his ankles on this outside-zone run play.
Before he left the game against the Minnesota Vikings, Montgomery had two carries for three yards and two receptions for 25 yards.
We’ll provide more updates as they roll in from the team. For now, it looks like we can expect increased volume to Jahmyr Gibbs.
