A double-header of football is set to take place on Monday night, including the Ravens and Buccaneers. This showdown contest features a $100K first place prize with a $15 entry. I’ll go over some of my favorite plays you can use to put in your lineups.

Captain’s Picks
Chris Godwin ($15,600 CP): You probably came thinking my captain pick was going to be either Lamar Jackson or Derrick Henry. And, with the way they’ve been playing lately, they deserve it. But honestly, EVERYONE is going to want to captain one of them. I don’t have an issue with it, truly. But, I do like Godwin a lot. This is a huge spot for Godwin and it’ll go overlooked in the captain spot because of Henry and Jackson.
The case you can make for Godwin is that the Bucs are +3.5 underdogs in this game. If they’re playing from behind, targeting slot receivers against the Ravens has been an optimal play. The Ravens have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing slot receivers this season. Slot receivers have made 43 catches on 59 targets for 472 yards (10.9 YPR) and four touchdowns. Godwin is in the midst of what could be a career year and is coming off an 11 catch, 125 yard, two touchdown game. If the Bucs are playing from behind, this game script will be positive for Godwin. I’m expecting the Bucs running backs to struggle against this strong run defense, so the aerial attack should be prominent.
Again, I don’t blame you for taking Henry or Jackson. At least on paper, this is a tough spot for Henry, but no one has been able to contain him. If anything, you’ll be giving yourself a more unique build, as Godwin is projecting to be the fourth-highest captain behind Henry, Jackson and Zay Flowers.
FLEX Plays
Zay Flowers ($8,600): This feels like a very reasonable price for the Ravens WR1. Despite 21 catches for 243 yards over the last two weeks, he’s priced as the sixth-most expensive player in the pool. Flowers will line up across from Buccaneers CB Zyon McCollum on the majority of his snaps. While his numbers on the season are good, McCollum has allowed 10 catches on 18 targets for 180 yards and two touchdowns over the last two weeks. While the catch rate on targets against McCollum has been low (48%), he has allowed 14.8 YPR. If the Bucs try and sell out to stop the run, Jackson could have a field day through the air and with his number one target on offense in Flowers.
Cade Otton ($4,600): This is a great price for Otton, who is essentially priced like a D/ST. On a slate where people are going to go very top heavy, Otton is a solid want to even out your salary. He’s drawn at least six targets in three of the last four games while averaging 9.7 DKFP. He’s not going to put up huge numbers, but he’s been getting enough attention from Baker Mayfield to use in your lineup. The Ravens have allowed a league-leading 436 receiving yards (72 per game) to opposing tight ends. Despite that, they’ve yet to be scored on by one.
Otton has seen six red zone targets, which is tied for second on the team with Godwin. This is a very cheap price for someone who gets looked at in the red zone as often as he does. To put this into perspective, his red zone targets are tied for the second-most in the league amongst tight ends.

Jalen McMillan ($2,000): Your value play on this slate is McMillan. He was active for the first time since Week 6 last week against the Saints. He seemed as if he was eased back into action and failed to catch his only target. I wouldn’t be surprised if he sees a significant uptick in his snaps here in Week 7. He’s on the field a lot but he doesn’t earn a consistent number of targets. But, at this price range, simply being on the field is all you can ask for. As mentioned, the top of this pool is going to be heavily owned, so the necessity for going very cheap somewhere is necessary. By using someone like McMillan, you can realistically uses a combo of Godwin/Henry/Jackson and still have around $5500-$5000 remaining for your last two spots.
Fades
Bucky Irving ($7,000): The Bucs backfield is a mess right now. We could potentially have Irving, Rachaad White and Sean Tucker all healthy and active for this game. Because of this, Todd Bowles broke out the dreaded “hot hand” quote when describing their usage. Honestly, maybe he’s doing us a favor. This is not a strong matchup for the Bucs running backs against a very good Ravens run defense. With White and Irving only separated by $400 in salary and Tucker likely not taking on a big role, there is no advantage in using any of them. If you’re feeling bold and think you have an idea, be my guest. This is situation I want nothing to do with.
