There are some great games in Week 8 that should feature some exciting offensive performances. Here is how to bet on their player props on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Georgia vs. Texas: Carson Beck o1.5 TD Passes (-175)
This is the biggest game of the weekend and it should be full of exciting offense. Georgia’s offense is firing on all cylinders at the moment and they will be by far the best offensive unit Texas has faced. Georiga has uncharacteristically struggled to run the ball this season and they are much more confident in Carson Beck in the red zone than they are in their run game. Beck should also be able to hit one deep-shot touchdown over the top. Beck has 2+ TD passes in five out of six games this season.
Michigan vs. Illinois: Colston Loveland Anytime TD (+125)
It has been a revolving door of quarterbacks for Michigan this season but they are starting Jack Tuttle this week after he played well coming on mid-game against Washington. Tuttle has by far the best passing threat of any of the quarterbacks Michigan has tried this season. Michigan had a bye week before this game to prepare the offense for how they will play under Tuttle. Michigan has no real threats at wide receiver so the tight end Colston Loveland is by far the top target for Tuttle.
Loveland has over twice as many receptions and receiving yards as any other Michigan pass-catcher. Loveland and Tuttle have already formed a connection as Loveland caught Tuttle’s lone passing touchdown in his relief appearance against Washington. Loveland will be the go-to guy for Tuttle against Illinois, especially in the red zone, so getting his anytime TD at plus money is a great bet.
Georgia Tech vs. Notre Dame: Jamal Haynes Anytime TD (+110)
Jamal Haynes is having a great season at Georgia Tech. He has eight touchdowns in seven games this season and has been playing his best football the past two weeks. Haynes has combined for 38 carries, 298 rushing yards, and three total touchdowns over his last two games. Haynes should carry that momentum into this game and get a heavy dose of action once again. Georgia Tech QB Haynes King is normally a rushing threat but he is banged up heading into this game which makes it even more likely for Jamal Haynes to get the touches inside the red zone. He should be able to get into the endzone against Notre Dame on Saturday.
Miami vs. Louisville: Isaiah Horton o43.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Miami has one of the best passing offenses in America. Xavier Restrepo has emerged as Cam Ward’s star receiver, but Isaiah Horton has made himself the clear WR2. With how much Miami throws the football, that still generates a lot of targets. Horton is averaging just over five catches a game for 65.8 yards per game. His median receiving total this season is 68 yards, so he is consistently churning out big performances.
Louisville’s offense should be able to put up a good fight against Miami and this game could quickly turn into a shootout which just means more action for Horton. Louisville’s pass defense has also been shaky against good offenses. In Louisville’s last two games, SMU had four different receivers clear this yardage amount and UVA had three different receivers go over this number. Isaiah Horton should comfortably get over this number with the amount of targets he will get.
