Can Amon-Ra St. Brown score a touchdown in Week 7 vs. Minnesota Vikings?

The Vikings have been a force defensively this season. It’s been one of their biggest strengths and has helped propel them to a 5-0 starts. However, a soft spot in their defense can be exploited. This has me loving an Amon-Ra St. Brown touchdown in Week 7.

One of the worst cornerbacks in the league has been Byron Murphy Jr. of the Vikings. Amongst qualified cornerbacks, Murphy Jr has seen the second-most targets (48) and has allowed the most catches (35). Murphy Jr has given up 405 yards (2nd in the league), 144 yards after the catch (5th) and two touchdowns. Now, he’ll have to deal with St. Brown in Week 7.

After being held out of the end zone the first two weeks, St. Brown has hit pay dirt in three straight games. He has great potential to make it four, especially with the Lions potentially struggling to move the ball on the ground. When the Lions have been in the red zone, they usually run with David Montgomery. However, the Vikings have really suffocated the run and have only surrendered two touchdowns to the position. With the soft matchup in coverage, this is where I like St. Brown to step up and score in Week 7. He’s seen a massive nine red zone targets, which leads the team and is tied for the fifth-most in the league.
