This weekend should be a fantastic football weekend with marquee matchups across the board throughout the day on Sunday, capped with a beautiful Monday Night Football doubleheader. While the matchups should make for an enjoyable weekend of football, it also puts some fantasy stars in bad matchups.
In addition, multiple injuries and trades continue to shift the landscape of the league from week to week. In Week 7, the Cowboys and Bears are on bye weeks while the Chiefs, Rams, Dolphins, and Vikings are coming back after getting last week off. To help you make all your lineup decisions, you can find my positional rankings each Monday on DK Network.
As we prepare for Week 7 to kick off on Thursday with a battle of rookie QBs, let’s look at some of the biggest risers and fallers in my Week 7 fantasy football rankings.
QB Risers and Fallers
Jayden Daniels and Lamar Jackson are still my top two options, but based on the matchup, I flipped the rookie Daniels into the top spot for the first time this season. Just behind those two superstar dual-threat QBs, I slotted Jordan Love at No. 3, his highest slot of the season up from No. 5 in Week 6.
Josh Allen dropped a couple of spots in my rankings, but that was before getting Amari Cooper in a trade. After the trade, I’d have him fourth above Joe Burrow, but he’s still in a tough matchup against the Titans’ solid defense.
Patrick Mahomes is back from his bye week, but I couldn’t slot him higher than seventh since he’s in a tough road matchup and still doesn’t have many experienced pass-catchers.

RB Risers and Fallers
It’s a potential revenge game for Saquon Barkley this week against the Giants, so I left him in my top spot even though Derrick Henry is pushing hard for the No. 1 spot while thriving with the Ravens. Kyren Williams is also an elite play as he returns from his bye in a great matchup against the Raiders.
Joe Mixon had a big return last week vs. the Patriots, which was enough for me to move him into the top 10 for this week’s matchup with the Packers in Green Bay. Jonathan Taylor is also back in my top 10, assuming he’s able to return from his ankle injury in a favorable matchup vs. the Dolphins. On the other side of that game, the Dolphins are back from their bye week, and I still think De’Von Achane can be a starter in most formats, especially in this matchup.
Trending the other direction, Josh Jacobs slid down to No. 15 in my rankings and Chuba Hubbard dropped to No. 22. Hubbard’s slide is mostly due to his matchup along with the potential of having to share more carries. I also dropped Rico Dowdle out of my top 25 since the Cowboys still don’t seem ready to give him enough work to make him a reliable fantasy play.

WR Risers and Fallers
A.J. Brown returned in Week 6 and looked ready to post big numbers the rest of the season. He checks in at No. 3 in my WR rankings for Week 7 after I had him down at No. 12 for his return. Zay Flowers also leaps into the top 10 after his big performance last week while Jayden Reed drops several spots since the Packers have so many more WR options this week.
If they play for their new teams, I’d rank Davante Adams at No. 12 vs. the Steelers, and I’d move Amari Cooper from No. 22 up to No. 17. I’d also drop Garrett Wilson to No. 22 since Adams will likely get many of his targets.
Dropping out of my rankings this week are George Pickens and Michael Pittman. Head injuries to Chris Olave and Marvin Harrison Jr. remove them from the top 25 as well.

TE Risers and Fallers
The Chiefs returning from their bye week means Travis Kelce is back in the top spot for a head-to-head matchup with George Kittle, who is No. 2 this week. Rookie Brock Bowers continues his surge and sticks in the top five. After his big game against the Bears last week, Evan Engram also makes a strong return at No. 6.
Sliding down a few spots as other options fill in ahead of them, Tucker Kraft and Kyle Pitts are still in the top 10, but they need to step up to stay in the top 10. Pat Freiermuth slides just outside my top 10, especially with uncertainty at quarterback in Pittsburgh.
