By: Zach Thompson

Week 7 is set to provide a great week of NFL action, highlighted by a Super Bowl rematch and a battle for supremacy in the North. After two straight 14-game weeks, there are 15 games on tap in Week 7. Only the Bears and Cowboys are on their bye weeks while the Lions, Chargers, Eagles, and Titans are returning from their bye in Week 6.

The Saints and Broncos kick off the week on Thursday Night Football in a battle of rookie QBs. For the third straight week, an early game from London starts Sunday’s action before a 10-game Sunday afternoon, including two outstanding matchups as the Chiefs visit the 49ers and the Vikings host the Lions. The Sunday Night Football game includes the Jets and new acquisition Davante Adams visiting the Steelers, who may have a new QB. The extra game on this week’s schedule is part of the primetime doubleheader on Monday night.

Make sure to check out our betting splits table as well, where you can see where the public is leaning in each matchup.

Throughout the week leading up to kickoff, DK Network will bring plenty of insight on NFL betting picks, NFL DFS contests, and more specific insights on player props, matchups, and strategies throughout the season.

Below are the betting trends for the top five matchups of Week 7:

All odds are provided by DraftKings Sportsbook and all odds are subject to change.

Denver Broncos at New Orleans Saints

Relevant Records

The Broncos are 3-3 SU/4-2 ATS under rookie QB Bo Nix and coach Sean Payton this season after losing SU/ATS last week to the Chargers. They’ll look to bounce back in this matchup with the banged-up Saints, who started the season with two straight convincing wins before dropping four consecutive games. They lost SU/ATS last week to the Bucs in Spencer Rattler’s first career start. They also lost Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee) at least for this game.

The Broncos are 5-1 SU/4-2 ATS in their last six games against the Saints, but they are only 6-17 SU in their last 23 road games and 0-5-1 ATS in their last six games as road favorites.

On the flip side of the matchup, the Saints are only 1-9 SU/2-8 ATS in their last 10 games as home underdogs and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 at home overall. They are also 0-5 SU/0-5 ATS in their last five Thursday games and 4-12-1 ATS in their last 17 games on a short week.

The under is 8-2 in the Saints’ last 10 games vs. the AFC and 7-2 in the Broncos’ last nine against the NFC South. However, the over is 5-2 in the last seven games for the Saints.

New England Patriots vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Relevant Records

The Jags lost SU/ATS to the Bears last week in their first London game and will play a second straight game across the pond as they face the Patriots at Wembley Stadium, where the first NFL Regular Season matchup outside of North America was held back in 2007. Both teams come into this matchup 1-5 SU on the season although the Jags are 2-4 ATS while the Patriots are just 1-3-1 ATS.

Last week, the Patriots made the move to rookie Drake Maye at QB, and while the offense looked better, they still fell to 0-5 SU/0-4-1 ATS in their five games since a Week 1 upset over the Bengals. The Pats are 3-7 SU in their last 10 road games and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 vs. the AFC South. In one good trend for Maye and Co., New England is 9-1 SU in its last 10 head-to-head matchups with Jacksonville.

The Jaguars are 1-6 SU in their last seven games and 1-8 SU in their last nine games vs. the AFC. Jacksonville is 6-1 SU in its last seven games played in October and 10-5 ATS in its last 15 vs. the AFC East, though, so the Jags do have a few trends pointing in their direction despite their slow start.

The under is 6-3 in the Jaguars’ last nine games played on a Sunday, but both teams are 3-3 O/U so far this season.

Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings

Relevant Records

Betting Trends

This NFC North matchup will be a huge test for the undefeated Vikings, who return from their bye week to take on the Lions, who looked outstanding returning from their bye week in Dallas last Sunday.

The Lions have thrived indoors under Jared Goff, going 27-9 ATS in their last 36 games indoors. They are also 7-0 ATS in their last seven games against the Vikings and 7-1 ATS in their last eight road games. Detroit is 27-8 ATS in its last 35 games overall and 13-3 ATS in its last 16 divisional matchups.

The undefeated Vikings are 21-3 ATS in their last 24 games as the favorite and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games vs. the NFC. Minnesota is coming off its bye week after beating the Jets in London and will look to take advantage of the extra rest to continue its impressive start to the season.

The under is 8-3 in the Vikings’ last 11 home games and 8-0 in their last eight games as the favorites. The over is 7-1 in the last eight head-to-head meetings between these two teams and 5-1 in the Lions’ last six divisional matchups.

Kansas City Chiefs at San Francisco 49ers

Relevant Records

Betting Trends

This Super Bowl rematch is a great featured game for the late Sunday afternoon window as the Chiefs come off their bye week and visit San Francisco. The 49ers have struggled with a 3-3 SU/3-3 ATS start without Christian McCaffrey (calf), but they’ll look to get some revenge for last year’s Super Bowl loss by handing the Chiefs their first loss of the season.

The Chiefs are 11-0 SU/9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 games, so almost every recent trend is in their favor. They are 19-4 SU in their last 23 road games and 15-1-1 ATS in their last 17 as road underdogs. The Chiefs are also 6-0 ATS in their last six vs. the NFC West and 12-3 ATS in their last 15 non-conference matchups.

The 49ers are only 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games at home. They are also 0-6 ATS in their last six games vs. the AFC West. However, they are 12-6 SU in their last 18 games overall and 23-5 SU in their last 28 home games.

The over is 6-2 in the 49ers’ last eight games and 5-2 in the last seven games between these two teams. However, the under is 8-4 in the Chiefs’ last 12 games.

Baltimore Ravens at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Relevant Records

Betting Trends

The marquee matchup on Monday Night Football features two teams in playoff position after solid starts. The Ravens have clawed back to 4-2 and the top spot in the AFC North, while the Bucs are also 4-2 and second in the NFC South, currently holding a Wild Card spot. Each team is coming off a SU win last week, as the Ravens dispatched the Commanders and the Buccaneers marched past the Saints.

Baltimore is 4-0 SU/3-0-1 ATS in their last four games after an 0-2 SU/0-2 ATS start. The Ravens are 11-0 SU in their last 11 non-conference games and 7-1 SU in their last eight games on the road. They have also won five straight matchups with the Bucs and have gone 5-1 SU in their last six trips to Tampa Bay.

The Bucs are 10-4 SU/9-5 ATS in their last 14 games and are 6-2 SU in their last eight home games. They are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games as underdogs but only 1-10 SU in their last 11 games vs. the AFC North.

The under is 9-2 in the Bucs’ last 11 games as home underdogs and 5-0 in the Bucs’ last five games played on a Monday. However, the over is 5-2 in the Bucs’ last seven games and 5-1 in the Ravens’ last six games.
