Can Mike Evans have a fantasy bounce-back game in Week 7?

Can Mike Evans have a fantasy bounce-back game in Week 7?

Updated:

By: Alex Hunter

Mike Evans ($7,200) is coming off a dud performance of 5.4 FPTS vs. the Saints, but the receiver has notoriously struggled against Marshon Lattimore and company, with Evans’ quiet performance this past Sunday being the sixth straight time he has scored 10 FPTS or less against New Orleans.

However, Evans is in a prime spot to bounce back in Week 7, going against the Ravens, who are a perfect example of a pass funnel defense. This season, Baltimore is allowing the fifth-most yards per pass (7.5) and the fewest yards per rush (3.0). Furthermore, the Ravens are giving up the most touchdowns (10) and the second-most receiving yards to receivers (1,122).

The Buccaneers rank third in pass rate over expectation this season and they will have no choice but to heavily rely on their passing game against Baltimore. This game carries a high O/U of 48.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook and Evans should be very active in this tilt. The receiver owns a 22.3% target share this season – including seven red-zone targets – and he is averaging 18.5 FPTS per game when competing in a total of at least 45 points over the last three seasons.

Not only is Evans a must-start for season-long formats, he is very appealing for DFS, as he may get overlooked after his quiet showing last week.
