Welp. Things sure took a turn.
Before a quick refresh on the wild events we just witnessed, let’s prep for episode six of Agatha All Along.
Disney+ is dropping episodes of Agatha All Along at 9 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesdays. After dropping the first two episodes together, episodes three through five were each released on separate nights. Episode six of Agatha All Along is also slated to drop by itself. It will be available on Wednesday, October 16 at 9 p.m. ET.
Timing notes
Not only did the last episode provide some massive developments, it also had a surprising shift in length.
Only one of the first four episodes was shorter than 40 minutes long. Even then, that one clocked in at 38:38. Yet, episode five was only 31:36.
Now, that was plenty of time to pack a punch. But in terms of planning, it does illustrate that the remaining Agatha All Along episodes could have a significant swing in length.

(Warning: Spoilers for episode five of Agatha All Along ahead.)
- It appears the initial suspicions were correct about Joe Locke’s character. The combination of his actions at the end of the episode, Agatha’s final words to him and the headpiece that appeared atop his head indicate “Teen” is Wanda Maximoff’s child. The thought before the show was that Locke would prove to be Wiccan — who, in the comics, is the reincarnation of William Maximoff (one of Wanda’s sons in WandaVision). Whether or not Marvel will make him a carbon copy in that regard remains to be seen. Very curious how this develops.
- Poor Alice. She has her big episode, then she bites the dust. Absolutely brutal way to go. What remains to be seen is whether or not Agatha is truly, fully responsible for Alice’s death or if someone else had a hand in that action.
- Agatha may not exactly be a role model, but can you blame her for turning out that way when she has a mom like Evanora Harkness (Kate Forbes)? Imagine being told you were “born evil”? But, that’s not where the family reunion ended. We heard from poor Nicholas Scratch, the son that Agatha traded for the Darkhold. It was brief, but quite the stressful episode for our story’s main character.
