What happened to Jayden Reed? Live injury updates for NFL Week 6

Updated:

By: Sean Barnard

Just a few minutes before the halftime break, Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed appeared injured and required medical attention. This occurred on a punt return and has officially been labeled as an ankle injury.

Reed initially went to the medical tent on the sideline but did not go to the locker room early. He has been spotted moving around on the sideline but seemingly has a bit of a limp.

It was a productive start to the game for the second-year pass-catcher. Reed had tallied five receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown and was a key part of the Packers jumping out to a 24-0 lead over the Cardinals.

This injury also comes shortly after Dontayvion Wicks suffered an injury as well. Wicks suffered a shoulder injury a few minutes earlier and also is listed as questionable to return by the team.

While Green Bay can rest comfortably on the fact that they are up 24-0 to start this game, the status of each of these pass-catchers will be something to monitor moving forward.

We’ll provide more updates here on Reed as the team releases them.
