Week 6 of the NFL season is almost over! Monday Night Football can either make or break your fantasy matchup as the last game of the slate.
Let’s highlight my start/sit fantasy football picks for Jets vs. Bills on MNF.

Start ‘Em: Allen Lazard
Garrett Wilson finally broke through last week, but don’t let that dissuade you from starting Aaron Rodgers’ No. 2 target.
Lazard has been an incredibly consistent fantasy producer, racking up double-digit PPR points in four of his five outings. The veteran has seen 17 targets over New York’s last two contests and should remain a consistent factor in the passing game on Monday night. Despite losing multiple key defensive contributors, the Bills still boast a strong secondary, but I expect that to limit Wilson more than anyone else. Buffalo will almost certainly lock in on the explosive WR1, leaving Lazard room to eat over the middle.
Start him with confidence as a WR3/FLEX.
Sit ‘Em: Josh Allen (Bills) at Jets
The concept of benching Josh Allen, perennial MVP candidate and one of the most talented players in the game, sounds absurd. I realize that.
However, if you have another solid option at the position, I would seriously consider it. Allen was unbelievable in Weeks 1 and 3, racking up 30 fantasy points in each contest. In the rest of his outings, he’s been extremely underwhelming, failing to eclipse the 15-point mark. After finishing fourth among passing yard leaders last season, Allen has dropped all the way down to No. 22 through five weeks in 2024. With no true elite receiving threat at his disposal, it’s been a challenge for the superstar to move the ball.
This Monday, he’s set to face a stout Jets defense that has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. Not only is this an incredibly tough matchup, but Allen is also pretty banged up after Buffalo’s loss to Houston. As wild as it seems, leaving him on your bench is probably the right call this week.
Start ‘Em: Tyler Conklin
The fantasy tight end landscape is so thin that most managers are desperate for production. If that statement applies to you, there may be a strong option available on waivers in Conklin. The veteran has racked up double-digit PPR points in two of his last three games, seeing 23 targets over that span.
The Bills are stout against running backs and receivers, but less-formidable from a fantasy perspective against tight ends, opening the door for Conklin. The 29-year-old has seen a snap rate of 82% or higher in each contest this season, instilling confidence that he could be heavily involved once again this week.
Sit ‘Em: Dalton Kincaid (Bills) at Jets
With Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis gone, many were expecting Kincaid to push for the overall TE1 spot amidst a breakout campaign this year.
Through five games, that just hasn’t been the case. The target share has improved slightly over his last two contests, but Kincaid has failed to score double-digit fantasy points in four of his five outings. Allen is also beat up entering a tough Monday night tilt against the Jets, who allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to tight ends.
Kincaid will almost certainly figure things out at some point and start producing, but I don’t like his chances of doing so this week.
