NASCAR is back and DraftKings offers a new way to play fantasy NASCAR. The game is simple. Build a “Pick Set” (At least two picks) and decide if they will outperform their stat projections. Here is some advice to help build your DraftKings Pick6 Pick Sets for the NASCAR Cup Series Bank of America ROVAL 400 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course.
Kyle Larson: Finishing Position – 6.5
Pick6 Play: Better
Wins are tough to come by at the road courses. Wins are tough to come by at every track in the NASCAR Cup Series. They’re especially difficult at the distinctly different road courses on the circuit. The field is even. The Gen-7 car is as stock as it gets. There is parity in equipment and talent at the road tracks. The veterans do not have their regular advantage. The young Cup Series drivers rose up through the ranks racing at road courses. The only difference is greatness. Larson is the greatest driver on the planet.
Larson won at Sonoma in the spring. He did not win a road race last season but earned a top-15 finish in five of six races with an average finish of ninth in those races. He won at Watkins Glen and finished third in 2023. The rest of his races in the inaugural season for the Gen-7 car (2022) were plagued by mechanical issues. In 2021, Larson scored wins at Watkins Glen and The Roval for his new team.
Chris Buescher: Finishing Position – 12.5
Pick6 Play: Better
The disrespect is disgusting. Blue collar Buescher is never appreciated. How many races does he have to win? The guy is a former Xfinity Series champion. He’s won Cup Series races at short tracks, intermediate tracks, super speedways and road courses. What’s the guy got to do? He won the last road race (Watkins Glen) and earned two top-10 finishes in the first two road course races this season (COTA and Sonoma). His median finish at road courses is the best in the Cup Series. He ranked sixth in 2023 and third in 2022.
Qualifying and practice did not go well. Qualifying and practice are not races. Teams experiment. Buescher and RFK experiment. If there is a team that’s practice times cannot be trusted, it’s the Roush Fenway Keselowski Ford’s. One thing that can be trusted is that Buescher isn’t points racing. He’s a non-playoff driver. He’ll pit before each stage break and cycle forward. Playoff contenders do not have this luxury. Once upfront, as in the past, Buescher will hold his position and pocket another top-10 finish.

Create a Pick Set
Create a Pick Set by choosing at least two players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
