Picks, Best Bets for Beterbiev vs. Bivol Unidsputed Light Heavyweight Title Fight

Two of the best boxers in the world, Artur Beterbiev and Dmitrii Bivol, will face off in the main event of Saturday’s event. The boxing event will occur at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Beterbiev and Bivol are two of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world, and the Undisputed Light Heavyweight Title will be on the line tomorrow.

If you want a full preview of Saturday’s historic boxing card, I have you covered here.

Here are my two best bets for tomorrow’s boxing event, headlined by the Undisputed Light Heavyweight Title fight featuring Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitrii Bivol.

Artur Beterbiev Moneyline (+110)

Beterbiev is the older fighter in this contest by six years and is coming off an injury where he ruptured his meniscus. This fight was initially scheduled for June 1 but had to be rescheduled. Bivol is the all-around better boxer and has more experience on the big stage, but Beterbiev has one-in-a-generation power. He has legit one-punch power that can put anyone’s lights out. Beterbiev is 20-0 with 20 knockouts; he always finds a way to win by stoppage. It doesn’t matter if it’s early in the fight or the later rounds.

Beterbeiv swarms opponents with his unbelievably aggressive fighting style and excellent accuracy. Bivol has an inch height advantage (6’0″ vs. 5’11.5″), but Beterbiev has an inch edge in reach (73″ vs. 72″). Both fighters have an orthodox fighting style. Beterbiev lands 13 power punches per round, while Bivol only lands eight. Bivol has one of the best jabs in the sport and lands almost nine per round, as Beterbiev lands six jabs.

This fight will depend on whether Bivol can stop Beterbiev’s relentless attack. According to Compubox, opponents land only 13 percent of power punches against Bivol, the lowest percentage among current pound-for-pound greats. The value at +110 on DraftKings Sportsbook is too great to pass up, considering Beterbiev has shown little weakness in his professional boxing career until now.

Jai Opetaia to Win in 1-6 Rounds (+175)

Opetaia is one of the best Cruiserweights in the world and will defend his IBF title against Jack Massey on Saturday. Saturday will be Opetaia’s seventh fight since 2020, and he was 6-0 during that stretch, with four knockouts. Opetaia is 25-0 with 19 knockouts in his career, and this is his third straight fight in Saudi Arabia. The last time we saw Opetaia, he defeated Mairis Briedis by unanimous decision in May.

Opetaia is a massive -2000 favorite to win this fight, while Massey is +1100. The best value is betting on Opetaia to win this fight during the first six rounds. Although his last win came via a unanimous decision, five of his previous seven victories were by knockout. All three of Opetaia’s last knockouts occurred during the first four rounds of the contest.

Massey is 22-2 and is two inches taller (6’4″ vs. 6’2″) than Opetaia. Massey won his last two fights in 2024, most recently beating Isaac Chamberlain in June. Opetaia is a southpaw, while Massey fights with an orthodox stance. This will be a tough test, but Opetaia is on a path to becoming a pound-for-pound great. Opetaia has experience being on these massive Riyadh Season cards, while Massey doesn’t. If Opetaia uses his two-inch (76″ vs. 74″) edge in reach to his advantage, he will be in a good spot to win early in the fight.
