Darius Slayton ($6,600)
The oldest 27-year-old in football, Darius Slayton, feels like he’s been streaking down the sidelines in Giants blue for a decade. He’s always been an effective compliment, a low-tier second or intriguing third option who can go off at any given time. A vertical threat with legit burners, Slayton’s speed helps open concepts underneath if the offensive line can hold up, which it has so far in this young campaign.
Against Seattle, Slayton stepped in as the top X wideout and delivered. He led the club with 11 targets, reeling in eight for 122 yards and a score. His sneaky physicality carved up Seattle, and he eventually settled down and acted as a safety valve near the line of scrimmage.
No team has struggled with the big play more than Cincinnati. They are totally disjointed on the back end, and it’s difficult to imagine that trend stopping anytime soon. With Malik Nabers out, Slayton will continue to act as the de facto WR1, and at this assigned salary is a monumental steal.
Andrei Iosivas ($4,400)
Andrei Iosivas is likely to be an All-Value First Team selection at the end of the season. The Princeton grad has emerged as a frisky slot receiver. His track background leaks into his game, and he flashes elite lateral quickness in and out of breaks. He’s sneaky tall at 6’3″, which helps expand his catch radius, and he has a height advantage over standard nickelbacks.
With Tee Higgins ($9,400) back in the fold, his opportunity share has taken a dip, but not by as much as you think. Iosivas is still getting on the field, playing in nearly 80% of the possible snaps. That’s a valuable data point for a guy who creates separation and has three touchdowns to his name in 2024. Ride the opportunity, and have faith that the 24-year-old can shine under the lights.
Mike Gesicki ($4,000)
One of the worst dancers in sports, Mike Gesicki, is a slightly above-average journeyman tight end in the making. His blocking seems to hold him back from finding a permanent home, but as a pass catcher, his large frame and massive hands get him looks. Up the seam, he’s a monster and can go up and snag any ball in his vicinity.
Lateral mobility limits his route tree, but quarterbacks tend to love their athletic tight ends. The aerial attack has been in full force, and if Cincinnati continues to air it out over 30 times a game, there’s an avenue for Gesicki to get some looks.
