Tennessee was upset by Arkansas and saw their odds to make the College Football Playoff plummet. Here is a look at the odds at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Before Week 6, Tennessee was #4 in the AP poll and they had -300 odds to make the College Football Playoff at DraftKings Sportsbook. That was tied for the fifth-best odds of any team to make the playoff. However, they went on the road to Arkansas on Saturday night and lost as 14-point favorites. QB Nico Iamaleava had the worst game of his young career and the Tennessee secondary looked pretty vulnerable.

The loss to Arkansas moved their odds of making the playoff from -300 to +100. That took them from having the fourth-best odds to make the Playoff to having the 11th-best odds. They were one of the top contenders to make the Playoff and compete for the national title but now they are on the fringe to even make the Playoff. The Volunteers still control their destiny but they have tough games against Georgia and Alabama still on their schedule, among other feisty SEC teams like Kentucky and Vanderbilt that have already upset top teams this season.

If Tennesse loses to Georgia and Alabama but wins the rest of their games, they will be right on the borderline of making the CFP as a 9-3 SEC team. To ensure a spot in the College Football Playoff, the Volunteers will likely need to knock off one of those top teams.
