After value QBs had been bubbling up to the top of the leaderboard the last few weeks, it was the superstars who brought the fire at QB in Week 5. Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow went back and forth in an epic showdown with plenty of fantasy points flowing in both directions.
Two veterans joined them near the top with Kirk Cousins monster breakthrough on Thursday Night Football and Joe Flacco’s turn-back-the-clock performance in place of Anthony Richardson (hip) on Sunday. At the other end of the career spectrum, Caleb Williams had his best game as a pro, Jayden Daniels kept impressing with the Commanders and Bo Nix let the Broncos to a division win as well. Also getting a win this week, Trevor Lawrence escaped Flacco’s wacko performance and got his first win of the season on his 25th birthday.
Let’s get start getting hyped for Weke 6! With four more teams on a bye, including Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, here are my top 10 QBs to start:
- Lamar Jackson (vs. WAS)
- Jayden Daniels (at BAL)
- Josh Allen (at NYJ)
