It’s hard to not place a bet on Stefon Diggs to score an anytime touchdown against his former team on Sunday. Playing against the Bills for the first time since his departure, DraftKings Sportsbook has him at +140 to reach the end zone. This is a play I want to make in Week 5.
Diggs hasn’t been stuffing the stat sheet like his counter part Nico Collins has been. Collins’ 42 targets are 10 more than Diggs, but, both are tied for two touchdowns each (Diggs has a third on the ground). As I write this Friday afternoon, it’s still up in the air who’ll be covering Diggs in the slot. CB Taron Johnson could make his return for the first time since Week 1, as he’s practicing on Friday. Last year, he was targeted against 81 times and allowed a 77% catch rate and scored on three times. Should Johnson not play or be limited, it’ll likely be a combo of S Cam Lewis and CB Ja’Marcus Ingram. Both have been scored on already and Lewis has allowed an 85% catch rate against him.

I’m very much under the belief as well that CJ Stroud will go out of his way to get Diggs the ball in this game. Going up against his former team, Diggs is 100% the type of player that’ll have that extra motivation to show up in Week 5. I’m locking in Diggs to score this week at +140.
