Milroe had been one of the best quarterbacks in the country heading into Week 5 of the college football season. He was +700 to win the Heisman at DraftKings Sportsbook entering the weekend, the third-best odds of any player behind only Cam Ward and Jaxson Dart. Milroe then went on to put on an incredible display in Alabama’s huge win over Georgia. He threw for 374 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 117 yards and two more touchdowns.
This incredible performance in such a high-profile game moved Milroe up to +250 to win the Heisman from +700. Dart dropped down the board after Ole Miss’ loss to Kentucky, but Ward also had a good game and remains right behind Milroe at +500. Alabama still has a lot of big games on the schedule for Milroe to continue to make Heisman statements, so now is the time to bet on Milroe if you believe he can win the Heisman.
