The Golden State Warriors will attempt to find their mojo as they struggle to break out of the .500 zone in the 2023-24 season, and they’ll be getting an important team leader back soon. Power forward Draymond Green, who was suspended indefinitely after an incident involving Suns center Jusuf Nurkic, has been reinstated by the league. Green has passed all the requirements to begin a plan to return to play according to multiple media reports. Here’s the latest on his status for Sunday’s contest against the Toronto Raptors.

Draymond Green status updates

Green doesn’t have a physical injury, so his return to play will be entirely dependent on his conditioning. At the moment, the Warriors have listed him as out for Sunday’s game. However, that can change at any moment if the team deems him fit enough to play. Green’s return should help the Warriors be more consistent defensively, although the veteran hasn’t been that great himself this season.

If Green does indeed sit this game out, Jonathan Kuminga and Dario Saric will continue to get big minutes for Golden State.
