The Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers will meet up in the Wild Card round of the 2024 NFL Playoffs. Dallas won the NFC East with its win over the Washington Commanders in Week 18, while Green Bay punched its ticket to the playoffs with a win over the Chicago Bears.
Dallas will look to win its first home playoff game since 2018. They have not made it past the Divisional round of the playoffs since 1995. Cowboys fans may recognize the importance of that year, as it was the last time that the team won the Super Bowl. As the No. 2 seed in the NFC, if Dallas is able to beat Green Bay, they will also have home field advantage in the Divisional Round.
Green Bay was expected to be rebuilding this season after Aaron Rodgers was traded in the offseason. Quarterback Jordan Love struggled at times, but largely was able to take over the offense and kept his team in important games. The Packers are back in the playoffs after a one-year absence and are looking for their first road win since they beat the Cowboys on the road in 2016.
