Update: The Jaguars have been eliminated from playoff contention with their loss to the Titans. The Texans now win the AFC South, and Jacksonville heads to the offseason.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are in a position to win the AFC South with a victory in Tennessee this weekend, but if they lose, they will be competing for the seventh seed rather than securing the fourth. If you are a Jaguars fan, you’ll have a few games you’ll be paying attention to as they look to improve their chances of a playoff berth.

The Jaguars can clinch the AFC South and the fourth seed with a win over the Titans this week. The Jags enter as 5-point road favorites against Tennessee, and this game is extremely high stakes for Jacksonville. If they lose, the 5th and 6th seeds will not be available, and the race to the 7th seed will require several other pieces outside of the Jaguars’ control to fall into place.

Ravens vs. Steelers

The Ravens will need to beat the Steelers for Jacksonville to have a shot at the 7th seed in the AFC. If the Steelers win, Pittsburgh gets the seventh seed over Jacksonville. The Steelers enter as 4-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Result: Steelers win 17-10 over the Ravens.

Broncos vs. Raiders

The Raiders will need to win here for the Jaguars to make the playoffs (if they lose to the Titans, that is). If the Broncos win and the Jags lose, the Steelers will get the 7th seed. The Raiders enter as 2.5-point favorites.

Colts vs. Texans

If this game ends in a tie, the Texans will eke into the seventh seed ahead of the Jaguars. This is the most unlikely scenario to keep Jacksonville out of the playoffs. The Colts enter as 1-point favorites.

Result: The Texans defeated the Colts 23-19 on Saturday to clinch a playoff berth. If the Jaguars lose, the Texans will win the AFC South division title.
